Our philosophy

Working together with existing and future Cree Structures for the good of the Cree people and the Nation and through existing structures and mandatories with focus on Cree Values, Language, Cree Way of Life, Culture, Philosophies, Traditional experience, knowledge and wisdom in an open receptive manner.

Our mandate

To act as a support and advisory group to all organizations and Cree Entities in and with;

Dealing with Social issues in the communities
Supporting establishment of local Elders’ council’s
Transmission of traditional knowledge to further the well being of Cree people through the education about their own ways and traditional medicines
Protecting and maintaining, strengthening and enhancing Cree Culture and Language and promoting its use and application in all Cree Activities in todays world
Acknowledging and providing teachings and guidance on all spiritual aspects of creation
Keepers of Cree knowledge, customs, traditions, philosophies, healing methods, medicines
Being involved in Cree Governance, Education in general and justice
Consultations with local Elders in the respective 10 Cree Communities’
